Didn’t the CWS have the zone on the screen

I swear in previous years you could see where a pitch landed compared to the zone like in the MLB. might have been removed so these umps don’t lose their jobs

They did at one point. I would think the umpires association asked them to take it down. Obviously they are less consistent than mlb umps.

No. Didn’t have it in 2009, 2017, or 2023.

Don’t recall them having it during the game, but the telecast used to be able to review a pitches location with the box

It’s so bad, they’re not even showing the fricking plate in the slow mo replay.
