some are even bragging about it on BOL, about kicking off kids who are juniors or seniors to make room for recruits. "cream rising to the top" they call it. in other words, "i know we gave you a scholarship but we changed our mind for someone new and so go frick yourself."

Once one of the gumps shows up, they oughta be able to do an easy search on a premium site like the one available on TSD (it breaks down expected attrition by classes).

If Bama does this to several players, they can count on their recruiting taking a hit from it. No HS coach likes to see one of his past players given a scholarship, only to have it revoked in a few years. Word will get out to these recruits will catch on to whats going on.
