We are renting a beach house in 2 weeks in Ft. Lauderdale. Looking for any tips or recommendations for places to eat or things to do in the area. Our kids will range from 5 -16 year old. Thanks in Advance

Cafe Bastille in downtown Ft. Lauderdale is my favorite breakfast spot. Make a reservation for a spot outside.

A day on the water taxi. Has 10 or so restaurant stops. Most of the places it stops, I’d recommend as touristy spots to eat and drink.
If you have a car, could go drive Alligator Alley and have a pit stop. Would be a few hours.
Go walk around Hugh Birch Park.
I don’t have kids, so most of my go-to recs wouldnt be much help.
