No benefit to Saints longterm if Carr plays at all !! Let other QBs fight it out !!

Carr is gone next year… no benefit longterm if he plays because it deprives young QBs of development time.
Sit his Azz …. Just eat the salary money if you were stupid enuff to give it to him in the first place !!
You spent 3 draft picks on 3 young QBs… let them fight it out.
Let Carr bring Gatorade to players on the bench….a very highly paid Gatorade boy … but make him a Gatorade boy nonetheless !!!

I mean I agree for the most part. He’s not the future. I think we’re a year or two away from starting to really compete again as we bottom out and turn the corner. Our relatively highly drafted qb is also 26 already. Kinda stupid to play him for maybe a little short term benefit at the expense of long term continuity.
Plus I really dislike that tool and his family and would like to see him ride the pine

If he gets healthy by 2026, he’s a very digestible $69.2 million cap expense then.
