Seems they've had a few hackers get in and try to scam some members recently using member's info who don't post very often.

Sounds like what I described possibly happened to you. I'd open a new account and contact a mod with all of your original account info to get it squared away.

No. He still lurks and will comment every once in a blue moon. He hasn't owned it for quite a while.
