Story 1
I was working in my driveway the other day trying to fix my lawn mower, I went inside probably to drink some liquor or something, came back out and out of the corner of my eye I noticed the tail of something slither under a board. My mind said that was too long to be a lizard so I looked and sure enough it was a snake. Snake. It looked like a copperhead. Managed to make it come out to the open and I killed it. The last few days. I've been thinking that it was not a copperhead and I killed an innocent snake...

Story 2
Last night my wife dispatched me to the grocery store to get her a bottle of wine. I'd already had quite a few drinks myself. For those of you who are close to my age, you may remember who David Thompson, the basketball player was. Well. Well he lives near me and I've seen him at this grocery store a few times. So I had been in the middle of a discussion about the portal and NIL and I saw David Thompson as we were checking out. So I went up to him and asked him what his opinion was. We chit chatted a second. And I came home, and then I started doubting myself again like with a snake. And I may have just asked some tall-ish black guy with knee braces on both knees, His opinion of the portal and NIL
At least he didn't shoot me or anything..

There's actually a few different Cajun/Creole restaurants out here in SD that have grits and I have also found them at a couple of stores, although I don't look for them often. Since I'm lazy and not a good cook these are just the ones in a box. 
My mom brought me a few different things like that from back home in Louisiana when she came to visit me for thanksgiving.
I'd never heard of the brand before but it's Ragin' Cajun. I think I have some red beans or maybe jambalaya by them as well. I'd get up to go check but I have 2 little kittens sleeping on me right now.
