Chevy silverado - Brake booster Vacuum pump delete

Vacuum pump for my brake booster needs to be replaced due to it leaking oil, and while watching a video, I saw this delete video while searching. Has anyone done this? Should I replace or delete the pump on a 2017 1500?
Also I have the DoD delete done so I think that makes the delete better??
