Best gravel/stone for parking area

I’ve got super sandy soil but I’ve got to make it work. What’s my best option for creating an area for parking 2 vehicles + a boat w/ trailer? I’m leaning crushed stone but if there’s a better option that isn’t +/- $800 per load then I’m all ears.

you’d be best off putting down some compacted structural fill (red clay) under the stone. If you don’t you’ll likely lose a lot of that 800 dollar aggregate to sink and spread
