Picture for funeral. Please help

My brother in law passed this week and I would really like to crop the picture to just him for the obituary announcement. It’s the fella in the middle in uniform. I can crop it myself but it always comes out weirdly shaped. Can someone that knows how to do this stuff help me out.

My condolences. He bunked next to me at basic training in Ft LeonardWood MO. Have not seen him since 1996. Just happened to click on this board for some reason tonight. Hell of a guy.

I wasn't using an app. There is an included object eraser on my phones gallery app (S25 ultra)
