I would gladly save up and pay more for American appliances IF, IF those appliances would be known to last until my death.
We need to meme war this back into existance.
The times of raping the earth and flling the landfill with cheap disposable crap needs to come to a stop.

I owned a Maytag and a Whirlpool in the last 7 years and both didn't last but 3-4 years. Both brands are crap now, just bought a SpeedQueen for 2 times the cost but it runs like a champ.

We’re just gonna go ahead and turn this into another Speed Queen thread. I’ve had a SQ washer and dryer for 8 years now with zero problems. Clothes come out almost too clean.
