Tech definitely has a "just do, and ask permission later" mentality. Why local govts aren't able to catch up with making laws against stuff like Uber, electric scooters, anonymous vehicles, etc. Just do it, get people hooked, and they'll help you fight city hall.

One of my biggest pet peeves, upgrades for no reason. My favorite weather app just recently “upgraded” and it’s total shite now. I deleted the app and now use a different one. Hate that shite and Bill Maher is exactly right….its how the developers justify their existence.
