My son wants to go on a golf trip after he graduates high school this spring and were looking at Myrtle Beach. For those who have been, what are your favorite courses in the area. There are so many to choose from and I'm not very familiar with them. Any help would be appreciated.

I liked Caledonia. I think they charter for fishing too

I disliked Pawley Plantation. Sand lines every fairway and surrounds every green

Of the higher tier courses in the area, you can’t go wrong with Caledonia or The Dunes. I’ve heard really good things about Tidewater. You have the barefoot courses Which are really popular. Myrtle is actually a very large area so it will also depend on where you stay..

TPC Myrtle

My favorite place in Myrtle.
Legends Resort. Links style courses. Love those courses. Wide open and fun.
