This is why Michigan paid Underwood

I don’t care one way or the other about his decision. I’m talking about Michigan. They saw what they had at QB this year and how average most teams QBs are. So of course if someone wants to throw crazy money out there, especially for the potential someone like Underwood shows, they’re gonna do it. Even if the rest of your team is somewhat lacking, a true top level QB gives you a chance.

I mean sure but Kelly had Jayden, Malik's and BTJ and still lost 3 games

Yea cuz that defense was historically bad. Just being average to bad we don’t lose 3 games last year.

Not arguing that point. I’m just stating about how average these QBs are. You get good D and good O with a top level QB and you should do well. This is what I hope LSU has next year. We’ll see.

This will be the defining moment of his career when he hangs it up after he's fired here in 2 or 3 years
