can you paint oil rubbed bronze tub/sink drain

and have it last?
it is completely cosmetic that the oil rubbed bronze finish has worn off over the years on the pop up drain stopper and seat in the sinks and the twist tub drain with scrubbing or cleaners, etc and has a copper/brass appearance.
trying to restore the look versus having to replace.
any suggestions

You can paint anything as long as you prep it right

Just clean it up and brush some vinegar on it to add the patina back.
