Hello all. My wife is asking me what I would like for Christmas and I am thinking about a new gaming laptop as my Lenovo is four years old and starting to wear down. I primarily play strategy games like CK3, but also use it to watch shows, sports, movies, etc.

How much would a gaming laptop be that would be as good if not better than the Xbox when I connect it to my TV (LG CX)? I really want to play some of the Xbox exclusive games. Thanks!

No means an expert but the game you linked doesn't seem to need much to run. I think any entry level gaming laptop would work. Best buy has a few for 650-800. You can probably find something for 200-300 in the used market.

Earlier this year I ordered this laptop and love it. It has been running flawlessly. Don't let the small company put you off, the price for a similar spec from a big brand would probably run you closer to $2k. Also, ordering from them is tax free, at least at the time that I ordered from them. They offer different types of laptops based on your price point.

Budget? And does it have to be a laptop? Desktops are much better deals.

If you're ok with a desktop and have a grand to spare.

You can get this for 999.99

Memory could be better but should be good for xbox exclusives.
