Permeable car parking project

I have an area that I intend to dedicate a two-space guest parking space. The area is between two old live oaks with about 60’ spacing. I want to take about 22’ of space between them for parking. My goal is to design and build a “root friendly” parking space.
Can anyone offer advice on the proper design and material for this purpose? I’m thinking maybe a geoweb material for the top 2-3 inches depth over a porous base. I do intend to add a border to retain the material.

Rubberway may be something to look at. Geo web or Geo cells are deeper than the 2-3” you mentioned.
Not as flexible as rubberway, you may consider true grid.
Hope this helps

Why not just put black gravel or limestone down in a border?
