Anyone know if TSH being a .03 while losing a lot of weight is normal? I’m also taking Tirzepatide and my doctor wants to get an ultrasound and meet with an endocrinologist. I think it will just level out once I quit losing weight but I really don’t know.

An endocrinologist would look at changes in your TSH over time.

TSH that low is not normal and is due to hyperthyroidism. You’ve got an overactive thyroid and that explains the weight loss along with the Mounjaro. Could be from the med. Any other symptoms like shakiness, fast heart beat, mood issues? . US likely to eval your thyroid and see if anything suspicious on it like a nodule. History of thyroid disorder or family history?

No theres been no symptoms at all. I didn’t start losing weight until I started the mounjaro. No one in my family has any problems either.

That’s assuming family had the same tests run. Pretty sure my mother had the same issue, but never had it tested, or ignored it. I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and ended up having it ablated. Went on a keto diet before being diagnosed and went from 175 to 159 in 8 weeks
