Looking to get an espresso machine and decent grinder. Thinking of getting the Turin legato v2 paired with a D64 gen 2 grinder. I think a couple on here have this setup. Looking for advice on this or similar setups.

Currently using a Gaggia Classic Pro, which has been solid.
I'd also look at the Profitec GO

Did you upgrade a lot? How long did it take to dial it in?

The only upgrades have been mostly aesthetic- wooden knob and feet (which raise it about 1") and wear/maintenance related items.
Recently had to replace the steam valve assembly once in 5+ years of daily use. Quick, cheap, and easy DIY.
Also replaced the group head gasket with a silicone version a couple times.

I have the Legato v1 and a DF64v1. Love them both. Jump on the deals now if any are left.

We had the Jura E8 for about 18 months. Loved it. Just sold it and upgraded to the Jura Giga 6 which has two bean hoppers/grinders. It is a great machine.
