Let’s go 5a HOCO!

A 4-seed. They were 6-4 going into the playoffs.
We're staying in Murphy, NC for the weekend. If it weren't gonna be so damn cold tonight, I'd shoot down to Blue Ridge to watch Fannin Co/Northeast Macon since it's only 20 minutes away but it's too fricking cold.

The fact Buford/NG is not the GPB broadcast tonight is bullshite.

It's Thomas Co.Central and Hughes(one of my schools).
I get why they're doing it. They want the South Georgia audience who didn't want to travel to Fairburn.

NG/Buford will be a good game. Would love to see Buford go down, especially since they are playing at Tom Ridden Stadium.

Don't get me started on that.

Me too! I actually live in the Lanier cluster and their cherry picking of neighborhoods on Buford Dam is sickening!

North Gwinnett did the same thing when they created the Lanier cluster. My house was 1 mile from NG high school but was zoned for Lanier.

This whole area is wild. Been here 20 years, and only thing that makes any of it make sense, is the wife is a teacher in the NG cluster and I don't have to think about it.
First home was off Whitehead = Lanier, that you drive by NGHS. Second in Wild Timber = NG. Now in Millcroft = Lanier obviously. Kid is a sophomore at NG, so 3 more years and we're out.

The boundary lines make no sense. Lanier is still the smallest Cluster in the county. Both of my kids graduated from Lanier. We were originally in the mill creek cluster and left as it was just too big. I have many friends who did permissive transfers for their kids to Lanier or Mountain View due to the sheer size of mill creek.

I lived off Level Creek near EE for 12 years. I moved into the Buford district 2 years ago. My neighbors to the right go to Hall County Schools. My neighbors to the left and across the street are BCS. If just depends on if you annexed in before they stopped allowing annexations. It’s crazy.

Yeah, not surprised they won. Definitely surprised by the beatdown though. NG had a damn good team.

There were a lot of close, high-scoring games in the lower classifications last night and then some some blowouts in 5 and 6A. Lee County beat Sprayberry 60-0.
