Title says it all. Any experience with this? I will be staining and sealing my garage kitchen and back patio. I also want to do the same with my garage. What i'm concerned about is the sealing and durability considering it will have heaver use with our vehicles parked inside. Note: while i don't mind it, the wife doesn't want an epoxy floor so staining is what we're leaning towards...

Do's, don'ts, pro tips, etc... welcome here.

I'm sorry but if it's just a garage, why does she care about it not being epoxy? There are coats and flakes you can get to make epoxy garage floors look real nice.

Do you have an idea on what you want for both areas?

I stained and sealed a patio area. It was new concrete and really easy to do.

Only thing I can see with a garage is the need to reseal it often. Not a big deal, but could be a pain in the arse if you fill up the garage with stuff.

Have you met any women? Do you think logic applies to this? But “you know what” is still undefeated and world champion…

The garage kitchen goes into the garage which opens to the patio, all through two sets of French doors. I’d like all three to match. We open it up for holidays and make one big room.

I keep the garage fairly empty other than easily movable stuff like bikes and rolling stuff so a yearly reseal wouldn’t be the worst thing.

You will get wear marks and peeling in high travelled areas
It will look like shite and you will never match the old for a repair
