Never watched it but heard it is great. How could it not be with President Palmer from 24

you can pretty much pick it up at any point, the story lines are usually only 1 episode long or at the most stretch 2 or 3 episodes

It would be worth your while to watch the previous seasons so you can get to know the characters and what makes them tick. Awesome show! One of the best on TV.

What pisses me off is the time slot. Half the season it started 30 mins late due to football. Then it randomly took like 3 weeks off then BAM, new episodes. If my DVR hadnt been set I woulda missed it

There was a rumor during the writers strike that it would not be coming back. It has since been renewed.
