Any normal game doesn't even attempt to catch a ball on their own 2/3 yard line in a punt. Take the touch back and get in 20 yard line.

He had no reason to attempt a catch at the 2 unless he is an absolute imbecile and an iq of 10. That's called fair catch decoy at 10 yardline and let ball roll into end zone. That shite was purposely done. This is 1 of thousands of corrupt instances that this League is completely set up for entertainment reasons to keep the financial situation of the NFL at optimal expectations.
