5 TOs and 62 YDS.
Carr is trash.
Minshew had 54 on 1 pass.
Dalton went for 59 on his 1st drive.

Why’d you create an alter to post on for losses?
Didn’t see Sheed drop two tds?

The knock on Carr has always been that he’s worse than average against pressure. When everything is “clean” he has the talent to be really good. When it’s not, he’s a below average QB.
McCoy going out created a butterfly effect along the OL that made a decent QB really bad and an offensive that had been really good well below average. Carr is not a guy who can overcome adverse personnel issues. The guys who can do that are in, or on their way to the HOF.
When healthy, the Saints offense, combined with the great defense, can be really good. Unfortunately, all it takes on offense is 1-2 key injuries to collapse the house of cards.
That’s what this team is this year. Potentially very good with virtually no margin for error with respect to the offensive personnel

The play calling was way too conservative and scared

The Saints wanted to take shots. But when your OL is getting beaten nearly every play and your QB doesn’t handle pressure well, there’s not a lot the OC can do. You saw it on the last play. Carr got a bit of pressure and just panicked stricken threw the ball into coverage.
An OL who allows pressure and a QB who is bad against is a nearly impossible set of circumstances for an OC to overcome.

I knew this was coming.
Carr looks great when his opponents self-destruct.
62 YDS passing, less than 11 MIN 4th QTR?
Not his fault? He is a C, a leader?
Andy Dalton outplayed him, Fields outplayed him, hell even Minshew outplayed him on 1 play.
