Cause then his ear will be hurt or maybe his left pinkie.

He is injured too much for team to take the risk

True but he only misses 8-10 starts a year. If he makes 25 starts, he will get 16-19 wins with a good offense.

He's averaged 27 starts/ season over the past 8 years.

myth.
I'd hate for him to be on any other NL east team not called the Mets.

what did he do last 2 years? Would he be the fifth started on the Mets?

He'd be their 2 starter right now. Pelfrey is still quite green, and Maine still has a sore shoulder/elbow.

Which on a good team would allow him 16-19 wins.

I agree he seems hurt alot, but he still has one of the best curve balls in the game IMO.

That's where I think he should have gone all along. And not because I'm a homer. One, it's close to home, but more importantly, I don't see how the Braves could justify offering A.J. Burnett so much and not even making an effort on the younger Sheets.
This would be a huge move for the Braves, and if they could get a bat to stick in LF, they might be in a position to challenge the Mets for 2nd place in the East.

You're right assuming Ollie not coming back

I'm hoping he does, but assuming he doesn't.
