Greetings, music fans.

Quick note: For fans of elaborate, fun, technically profound, often epic progressive rock, I humbly suggest checking out Moon Safari from Sweden.

I personally started the journey with their latest album, Himlabacken Vol. 2, a treasure trove of spectacular songwriting and execution. Your ears and orbitofrontal cortex will surely thank you.

Enjoy, if you so choose, and have a nice weekend.

Sounds like straight up 80's hair band rock.

The first song, perhaps (through a narrow lens). Listen to the entire album and report back.

Moon Safari is a gem. Swedish guys that are often called “The Beach Boys of progressive rock”

A little bit of that European cheese, every once in a while, but the talent is off the charts. Best five part vocal harmonies you will ever find in rock music.

This is one of those bands that doesn’t feel right until ultimately it clicks and then you can’t stop listening.

Listen to A Kid Called Panic

That’s the most comprehensive song that shows their style. Brilliant. If you don’t dig any of this after a couple listens then no need to proceed. But if you dig this a million more songs to check out.

Insanely good live as well.
