Pit Boss Laredo 1000 question!

Whenever I have my probes hooked up into the meat I am cooking, I get an ERR error code and the grill shuts off. I love my grill and have cooked on it about 15-20 times. I have gotten these messages the last two times I have cooked on it. Can someone help me out with some answers on this?

So its only when the probes are hooked in?

Yes, once I take them out I unplug the grill and start it back up and it gets going again until it trips again to the ERR code. This in turn shuts the smoker off. I cooked without the probe on my last cook and it was fine. I just had to use a probe to check the temps once it was close to being done.

Normally the temp probe or ignitor will go out and cause what your describing. Never heard of a meat probe causing it, I would try it a few times without the meat probe to be 100% sure that is what is causing it and not a coincidence.
