Louisiana's own Darryl Richard is an awesome representative for GT. One of our most recognizable and beloved players, he is an incredibly gifted young man, and has made his place here. Not mentioned is his place on the search committee for GA Tech's new President. A very high honor for a student-athlete. Thanks for letting us "borrow" him for a few years!
Well done, Darryl!

What a great young man. Having said that, I hope he gets his arse kicked on New Years Eve.

Yeah, Louisiana football players are the best in the country. We already knew that.

Well... getting in a typically nasty frame of mind for the game, I see.

GT had a louisiana boy in the 2000 game that the commentators were gushing all over...I guess this really is the deja vu bowl

Good for him. Glad to see a Louisiana boy doing well. I wish him continued success with the exception of Dec. 31.

Was that QB Jermaine Crenshaw? Hmm. I'll have to go back and look.
We actually get a lot of players from over there. LaRon Landry's brother Dawan was a SS for us about 3 years ago - now plays for the Ravens. Eric Henderson was an incredible DE for us at the same time. Last I heard he was playing LB for the Bengals. Ace Azjenavi was a backup FB also on that team. One of the most notable was Greg Gathers, a DE who has the record for sacks after only 3 years back in the early 2000's. His career ended prematurely after a bad kidney disorder was discovered.
