Going to Baha Mar this summer for the first time with my wife. Curious if anyone has any “must do’s” while there as well as best restaurants to reserve.

I’d recommend joining the baha mar Facebook group before you go. It’s a bit of information overload, but this question has been asked and answered hundreds of times for every scenario. Young/mid-life/older Couples, couples with all different age kids, nightlife if looking for that. etc. 3 days. 7 days etc.
my point being you can dive in as deep into those posts as you’d like and try to get a feel for what makes sense for you.
My recs: I go with kids and my wife. Paying for beach club chairs for day use. Marcus is my favorite for dinner. Jazz bar for after dinner. Cash for tips. Taxi is always easy and won’t need to reserve at airport or resort. I like getting off property at least once for dinner for stays of 4+ nights. Daquiri bar by straw market right outside of property is good and change of pace. There’s a couple boats that will do private charters for the day for 2-4 people that can arrange lunch , snorkeling, boozing, island hopping. Maybe $600/day (search that on FB page for operators).
I like the place especially for kids. It’s a little busy for my taste for trips for just me and my wife, but we would still have fun if we did go just us.
Hope that helps. Happy to answer any other more specific questions if you have them.

walk the property to find out a location you may like. Meaning, kids around, or quiet, or shade, etc. the place is huge. lazy river is always fun.
If you are a golfer, the course is gorgeous. rental clubs are obviously available.
i really enjoyed the snuba (i think this is what they called it). reefs were beautiful even in the relatively rough seas we had that day.
jazz bar is fun, but service is slow. can get a little crowded.
people i know that "swam with the pigs" said it was a waste. I did not do this.
