So Spirit Halloween will set up in Red Lobster's now?
Red Lobster is a terrible chain. It may have once been a decent regional restaurant 30-40 years ago (wouldn't know....that was way before my time), but after their massive expansion and several changes in ownership/management....they are pretty lost now. It's failing because they have to lower their prices to unsustainable levels to get people in the door in volume. And they have to do that because their quality and service is lackluster at best.
Darden Brands don't always produce the best product, but they at least know how to turn a profit. The spin off of Red Lobster 10 or so years ago from their portfolio was the beginning of the end for the chain.
