I guess you can claim Trump contributed to the current inflation troubles.
During his reign as POTUS people were working, making money and having to spend very little on common householdgoods and fuel. Investment returns were fabulous and as a result of Trumps policies and tax breaks people were spending money like it was nobody's business. Life was GREAT!

The inflation cliff came directly from Covid bailouts. Joe hasnt done anything to tame it, but it came from covid spending and continued economic stupidity.
