If you look at the best schools in the State (Oak Grove, Madison Central, Oxford etc….) and compare them to the cost per student of Jackson Public Schools and the Delta districts it is shocking. I know when my boys were at MC the cost per student was under $10K while the failing Delta schools where over $15K.
