I don’t think someone convicted of molesting children should be allowed to open a daycare. Do you?
Taking away certain rights in perpetuity, including the right to bear arms, should absolutely be an option when it comes to sentencing. But it’s an option—it certainly shouldn’t be done for all felonies.
