Left wrist, went over bicycle handlebars at 13; by far the worst one as the bone was protruding big time. Didn’t break the skin, but the hand flopped like a fish out of water.
Left tibia, backyard football at 14.
Same bone 2 inches higher and six months later, basketball,
Right ankle, football,
Left ankle, jumping off a roof.
It was at this point my parents had me tested for low bone density. Doc said it was just a case of dumbass behavior (don’t recall the medical term for that)
Right collarbone, playing a game my dumbass friends and I invented called dodge bicycle at 16.
3 ribs all at once on my right side. Some friends and I were walking along an unlit road a tad late at night ; there may have been some underage drinking involved. They had dug out a section of the road and didn’t mark it off. I was walking on the outside and stopped right in, clipping my side on the way down about 8 feet. Getting out was a bitch. This was the worst recovery. Every breath was fire for the first couple of weeks.
There were a couple random fingers and toes in there as well.
All those preceded graduating high school in the early 90s. My total was 13 at that point.
Long stretch where I got less stupid. Rebroke my right ankle playing basketball with my son during Covid when everyone was at home. That was lucky 14.
