re: Yellowjackets are underrated

Found a nest with my mower last year and thankfully didn't get stung. Came up with the bright idea of getting the gas can and pouring a trail of gas along the grass to the opening of the nest in the ground. Lit a piece of paper and threw it on the trail, worked like a charm, with seconds the fire was down the hole and into the nest. I was immediately proud of myself.... Until the little demon spawns came flying out of the hole, on fire, whizzing around everywhere. The wife watched this entire endeavor safely from the confines of our kitchen window. She about peed herself laughing at my hauling arse across the yard away from them.
