He sees himself from the anointed class and thinks he is a god.

Necessary ingredients for evil:
Means to an end
Idealism
Narcissism
Sadism

I think Fauci possesses all of these, but certainly the first three. His canine experiments suggest the fourth, as well as the shady research that he knew was playing with fire, and I think he secretly hoped something would escape and cause suffering around the US and the world.

The other thing about evil is that even with all four ingredients present, there must be power to implement the things that are evil. Our system as put too many Fauci's in positions of power, and that's why things are a mess and that's why we get pandemics, economic disasters, a runaway FBI, and so forth.

When people talk about government administrators thinking they are the policy makers and decision makers for the nation, without having to win an election or face accountability, Fauci is a perfect example of who they're talking about.

"When really it's the natural thing to do. If you don't like the word treaty, call it an agreement. You know, just do some semantics to make you feel a little bit more comfortable about it. But there is a pushback."

In addition to all of the other things Fauci stands guilty of, add stupid to the list. Most Americans understand that it has nothing to do with semantics, and that the word "treaty" is a very specific word. Treaties must be ratified by a two-thirds vote by the US Senate.
