Eta Well by Milazzo standards, yes it would’ve been errant.


If the throw is catchable with the first baseman's foot in contact with the bag the throw is not errant, its just not perfect. This is not gymnastics so toe points and body lines are not relevant if the throw beats the runner with the foot in contact with the bag.
