Israel has been heavily involved in influencing every invasion we have conducted in the past 25 years. They begged us to invade Iraq, Syria, and Iran. They got their wish with the first two, but never have with the third and have been trying to get it started ever since. Netanyahu periodically will ask the US president to strike Iran year after year.

My observation is that most folks would much rather the emotional outburst mode of expression rather than the logical thoughtful conversation mode of expression.
That's OK. Probably 90 percent of the American people are exactly that way.
