One shooting does not a Shreveport make.
Also, it's just a general question. Can St. George defend itself? Pineville? West Monroe?
I mean I guess as long as you've got a river/bayou between you and the city you could have Sheriff's departments controlling access but if you don't have that advantage, what's the plan? Stay or go?

Bossier is not Shreveport, but there are pockets that are getting progressively worse.
Would I stay where I'm at? Yes.
Would I rely on a sheriff's department to control access? No.
