I change ours in 5 vehicles about 4 times a year. It takes longer to procure the parts and find the damned tools than it does to change it. It costs about half of what it would cost and the time is far less. I also do not have to be concerned with some moron using an impact wrench to replace the drain plug and cross threading the damned filter resulting in the engine being removed. Have known multiple people who have had both happen using Jiffy Lube type places. To each his own of course but it just isn't worth paying more to have it done and chance them fricking up way more than old oil....
