I looked out at my lawn today and what i thought was clover (impossible- i eradicated those 2 months ago) was actually a large field of new deer mushrooms. How should I best get rid of them (there are hundreds) and will they harm my dogs?

If they actually are deer mushrooms they are edible, and people forage and eat them all the time. They'll probably give the dog the shits if it eats a bunch of them, though.
That said, you should make damn sure they are deer mushrooms. I don't even trust myself to ID mushrooms.

Woke up today and they’re gone. The coons and rabbits must have had a feast!
