Currently players have all the power and can hold schools hostage for more money. NCAA opened Pandora’s box and needs to figure out a way to at least protect schools somewhat. I am old school and thing a scholarship and all the extra benefits including living stipends were payment enough for these kids, but I get change too.
There needs to be contracts and there needs to be restrictions on transfers again ASAP. Make kids sign 2 year contracts with schools essentially to get/keep NIL and then after 2 years they can free transfer.

Keon came into college just after Covid before NIL blew up.
I’m talking about a top HS player today getting several million and staying focused on football.
