Because he's not being blocked from class for being Jewish. He's being blocked because the protestors are attempting to shut down the school, which imo lives in a grey area of appropriateness. Missing a few days of class sucks, sure. Especially with current costs for school and how much that factors out into cost for individual class session. It's not the same as perpetuating a perspective that led to/was used to support slavery, lynching, Jim Crow, de-facto segregation, all things that caused massive amounts of suffering.
