We need more bullying and shame.
I absolutely agree on the shame point. Back in the day, getting pregnant in high school was considered shameful. Today, schools have daycare.
Doing well in school was the goal, and no one wanted to be the dumbass holding everyone back. Today, being a dumbass pays pretty well in many cases, but it doesn't advance society.
People used to be ashamed of being fat or dressing like a slob. Today, some idiots actually believe being fat is no different than being fit. How I would love for us to be back in the 80s when nearly every celebrity had a fitness video. I loathe Jane Fonda's politics, but give credit where credit is due. She got women off the couch and moving. Men were working out just to keep up.
No one wanted to live at mom and dad's house past age 21. Now, parents have to go to court to get their adult children to move.
Fat, lazy and stupid describes today's generation to a tee, and they're proud of it.
