The university system is a jobs program for otherwise unemployable people who spent years inventing worthless fields of study.
They are all the most reliably Democratic voting base, so in return the dems pump more money into the system. They churn out more people with worthless degrees, forgive the debt, loan money pays the professors teaching the worthless classes, rinse and repeat. Since the loans are forgiven, there is no incentive to control the cost. There is no incentive to only teach marketable skills.
It’s the biggest scam ever and you are paying for it through taxes and inflation.
