I have a similar problem when taking my dog into the woods. She takes a pill that kills them very well if they bite but that doesn't solve the problem of them crawling on her and then crawling off her when she comes into the house. I just try and not let her into areas that this can happen during tick months.
When I get into them I friction rub them to get as many as I can off my legs and then make a point to shower within a few hours. I dread feeling the sensation of my leg tingling from 100 ticks working their way up to my twingnberrys
This is our problem...I haven't any attached to her because we use a pill that keeps them off...the problem is they seem to have ridden her to the house.
I despise seed ticks. I don't mind a normal deer tick that is big enough to feel and find...but those damned seed ticks are so tiny you have to have someone else look for them and even as long as my wife and I have been married it ain't fun for anyone to have to be that close in the regions the damn things seem to really enjoy.....its one thing to get that close in that area while making out, another thing entirely looking for ticks...
