Regardless, I wish mine was squared away enough to do that
we open and close the door with the quickness, for now (just finished renovations and had to pack it with stuff).

our garage door sort of functions as the main entry-exit for our house based on where our front door is situated and where we park, etc. my kids are in and out through there all the time with their bikes and stuff, plus i'm out tehre a lot just tinkering around with whatever. i dont know really, it's just sort of how things have worked out. plus i keep it fairly organized.
