That is great news, don't expect miracles but she will be getting tools for herself to use to live with BPD.
As far as the allowed phone calls, make sure to set rules and stick to them. She will be lashing out in anger at you on the telephone and it will be extremely hard to listen to but your best choice is to just hang up the phone.
