I feel like as a general rule everyone should work in a restaurant at some point in their life. It isn't always easy, and it will teach compassion to give people a little grace.

Agreed. Being on the receiving end of people's demands makes for a more humble human.

I agree. That kind of hustling for food, rent & gas will really open your eyes to the difficulties a great many face.

I'm as jaded and cynical now as the next guy, but helping people who are trying to help themselves should be a core value.

Sometimes I'll throw an extra $20 to my Dasher and you can see in their expression you just made their day.
