I know that for 140 years catchers caught on their feet and and when they dropped their knees to block balls if you replaced you feet with your knees it put your chest at an angle to keep the ball bouncing back to home plate. These guys catching on one knee now have balls bound off their chests and towards the dugouts, or they can’t move to block a ball off the plate and runners are able to advance.

It’s an undeniable fact we have giving up more passed balls/wild pitches when catching on one knee than the couple of years prior.

Nah. It’s not.

Look, the entirety of baseball wouldn’t have gone to one knee if it was demonstrably worse. Think about what you’re trying to say.
