It was a Wirehaired Pointer. Don't know anything about them.

Sounds like she needs a better breeder.

I grew up on a farm. We had dogs as pets that ran free or in the house. Then we had hunting dogs in the kennel. They were treated like livestock. No way they could’ve been pets.

Most of today's breeders are all about the money, they don't give a damn about the breed. So they sell everything. It's ruining the breeds.

Some form of culling is necessary for the good of the breed, but people often want a breed-able dog or pay a reduced cost.
